A Real Nice Change Of Watch Ceremony

Division 2, First District, Southern Region

It was bitter cold on January 17, 2009, but inside the Shore Casino, the cold wind

was forgotten. It was a pleasure to meet members that you had not seen for quite a while.

Soon, all people, members, families, and friends were seated. CWO2 Frederick Venchenko,

Supervisor, U.S. Coast Guard Detachment Sandy Hook, gave the Invocation.

After the Invocation, the conversations started again, and all enjoyed the excellent meal and dessert.

Following dinner, the formal program began. The first order of business was the swearing of the 2009

Division Commander and Vice-Commander, William Anania and Joseph Antonaccio, respectively.
