  1. Flotilla Commander’s Introductory Remarks
    1. Paddlecraft safety / VE day on April 27th was a big success, was reported all the way up to Commodore Venezio and Admiral Sullivan.
    2. Completing ABC and other courses – if you want to be an IT sign up now!
    3. VE season is starting – please volunteer to organize events.
    4. Please get your facility inspected.
    5. Need to assign people to the following reorganization teams:

                                                              i.      Adminstrative

                                                            ii.      Staff Officers

                                                          iii.      Operations

                                                          iv.      ICS

    1. One new member this month, one more in process.
    2. Statistics for YTD 2008:

                                                              i.      Marine patrols:  17.6 hours

                                                            ii.      AUXADMN: 506 hours

                                                          iii.      CGOPS: 10 hours* (several missions performed, paperwork catching up)

                                                          iv.      CGADMN: 8 hours

                                                            v.      Member Training:  27.3 hours

                                                          vi.      Marine Dealer Visits: 10 hours

                                                        vii.      Public Affairs: 57.5 hours

  1. Plans and Upcoming Events:
    1. OPS Season has begun!  Facility inspection notices are being sent out – please do not wait to get yours done!
    2. Fleet Week activities are ramping up.  See the FSO-OP for details, but we have requests for several facilities, extra personnel at the events, and all members can participate.
